"Amazing place, great service (thank you to my servers and hosts Eric and Yair). The carbonara absolutely exceeded my expectations. Great dirty gin martinis - I made a special request for them and they followed my directions (I like a ratio of 4:1 and extra dirty and they came out perfect). The affogato is BIG SIZE. And the fernet was a perfect close, hospitality brought us 2 extra complimentary treats to close the eve. Sit outside if u can!"

"Extremely cozy place. Feeling of home, as if you came to visit your Italian grandmother. The food is very tasty. The waiters are attentive to you, sincere smiles, listen to your wishes, give recommendations on the menu. My family had a great pleasure visiting this restaurant. So we returned the next day for the Mediterranean menu on Saturdays and Sundays. Those who are looking for a real taste of Italy or Sicilian lemoncella, this place is a find in Playa del Carmen. My definite recommendation."

"I’m Italian and as a digital nomad, I am always looking for *quality* Italian food. I used to live in Playa and this was where everyone would pick for a special occasion night, but I also love coming back for some solo dates every time I visit. The food is Roman style and the pasta is al dente..they have Montepulciano wine and incredible service! Yahir was my waiter and he made sure I was well taken care of and was really enjoying the experience. So happy that the quality has stayed the same over the years."

"We have been to this restaurant several times now and it has never disappointed. We come frequently to Playa and this is our favorite Italian restaurant. The food is authentic and high quality. Top-notch sauces for the pasta (carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, etc), the pasta always properly cooked al dente, the procsciutto e burrata delicious, the saltimbocca wonderful, the ossobuco special excellent! "Fresh made in-house pasta and all home made menu. The cochtails are great. We liked the Negroi and Aperol Spritz. It's quiet, a few blocks from 5th Ave. so there isn't a lot of foot traffic or vehicles. Reservations are recommended. We scored a table for two, only because we were there shortly after opening and observed several being turned away. There are inside and outside patio tables."

"This is one of the best Italian meals I have ever eaten in my life. The owner is wonderful, the server Magda is perfection and I would eat here everyday if I lived in Playa del Carmen. This is a must see for everyone. Cacio e Pepe and the carbonara were literally unbeatable"

"So this place is run by Italian owners, has Italian employees and imports foods and ingredients from Italy so you are getting a true Italian food experience. The drinks were reasonably priced and tasted great. We had the prosciutto and melon for an appetizer. I was worried about the prosciutto but it was excellent. I got the fresh pasta with shrimp and my wife got the tartuffo gnocchi and she loved it. Probably the best Italian meal I’ve ever had in Mexico. I’ll be back!"

"I’ve been to Osteria de Roma several times over the last few years… And EVERY time it’s amazing. This time was no different… except we had a table of 10 and they still crushed it. Every order was on point. The food was perfect. The service was outstanding. The live music was awesome. This is a top shelf restaurant in Playa. They check every box. And. It’s reasonably priced. This is a never restaurant. You have to try it once. And you’ll want to come back often."
